The DAO、Slock itの詳細 - 暗号/仮想通貨とブロックチェーン

今回は、The DAO、Slock itについて書こうかなと思います。

（Myceliumに続いて、また半分くらい備忘録なので参考程度に、、、）

The DAOって？

The DAO is a new type of organization that lives on the blockchain, best comparable to a digital company, but without an attached legal entity. The DAO is composed of DAO token holders that can review proposals and cast their votes to elect and direct contractors in the physical world. This process is very similar to selecting a vendor or supplier. A DAO is however superior in many respects to a traditional company in the sense that all the decisions it makes are transparent, its finances can be audited by anyone and corruption is impossible.

The DAOは、Blockchain上の、デジタルカンパニーに匹敵する、新しいタイプの組織であり、法人組織に紐付いているわけではない。

The DAOは、proposalをreview可能であり、かつ票を投じられるDAOトークンのホルダーと、実世界の直接契約者で構成されている。

全ての意思決定に透明性があり、ファイナンスは誰にでも監査され得ることができ、汚職・買収が不可能という点で、既存の企業よりも優れている。

つまり、いわゆる"DAO(Decentralized Autonomous Organization、自律型分散組織）"をそのまま組織名にしちゃった感じですね。

Slock it との関係は？

The DAO framework is side project of Slock.it UG and a gift to the Ethereum community. It consists of a definitive whitepaper, smart contract code audited by one of the best security companies in the world and soon, a complete frontend interface.

The DAOの枠組みは、Slock.it UGのサイドプロジェクトであり、Ethereumコミュニティへの贈り物である。

definitiveなWhitepaper、世界でもbestのsecurity companiesのうちの１つ、そしてまもなくa complete frontend interfaceによって構成されている。

うーん、よくわからないのですがｗ　

ひとついえるのは、The DAOのトークンを買うこと=Slock.itプロジェクトのトークンを買うことでは少なくともなさそうです。

そもそもSlock.itって？

Slock.it is a promising Ethereum-based project, that aims to decentralize the sharing economy, by making it possible to rent access to any compatible smart object or IoT device and accept payments for renting your items without costly intermediaries.

Ethereumベースのプロジェクト。

スマートオブジェクトやIoTデバイスと親和性が高く、コストのかかる仲介者抜きに、商品の貸し借りの支払いを行うことが出来るため、シェアリングエコノミーの非中央集権化を志向している。

Blockchainと非常に相性が良いといわれる、Smart Contractやシェアリングエコノミーを、IoTデバイス等を用いて実現するサービスを開発するチーム、というのが正しい理解のようです。（プロダクトベースでは、まずSmart lockサービスを開発しているようです）
